Clayton took command after the first break, hitting a magnificent 152 checkout to break Heta’s throw. He extended his lead, but Heta, known as “The Heat,” began to claw his way back. As Heta threatened to level the score at 8-6, Clayton shut the door with a 107 checkout. Even with Heta having a dart at tops for a break at 9-7, Clayton delivered a stunning 144 finish – his fourth high checkout of the match – to seal his hard-fought win.
