Understanding the NDB Ranking System: Your Path to the Top
The NDB Ranking system is designed to reward consistent performance throughout the season. Players earn points based on how far they progress in each tournament they enter. The more events you play and the better you perform, the higher your ranking will be.
Key aspects of the ranking:
- Point Accumulation: Points are awarded for reaching certain stages (e.g., last 32, last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, final, winner). The higher you finish, the more points you receive.
- Season-Long Battle: The ranking is a cumulative total over the entire 2026/2027 season, emphasizing endurance, consistent skill, and participation across multiple events.
- Path to National Teams: A strong NDB ranking is often a prerequisite for consideration for national teams and representing the Netherlands in prestigious international competitions. It’s a direct pathway to elite darts.
This system ensures that only the most dedicated and talented players rise to the top, making every match and every point count towards their ultimate goal.
The 2026/2027 NDB Ranking season promises to be an unforgettable journey for Dutch darts.
