The Modus Super Series is heating up! After an intense day of darts, Asa Cansdale, Dylan Slevin, Llew Bevan, Jose De Sousa, and Dom Taylor have all secured their places in Saturday’s highly anticipated Finale. They will join Group A winner Andy Baetens, setting the stage for an epic battle to determine who advances to Champions Week.

The Road to the Finale

Friday’s action at the Modus Super Series saw players battling fiercely across two groups for a chance to compete in the ultimate Week Three showdown. With Group A’s winner, Andy Baetens, already confirmed, the pressure was on for the remaining hopefuls.

Group C: Cansdale Dominates, Slevin Squeezes Through

In Group C, Asa Cansdale delivered a stellar performance. Starting the day with 6 points, he won four of his five matches, showcasing impressive form. His victories against Arne Spee, Mike Warburton, Killian Heffernan, and Dylan Slevin cemented his position at the top. Cansdale’s only defeat came from Ciaran Forde, but he still finished first with an outstanding 14 points out of a possible 20.

Dylan Slevin also punched his ticket to the Finale, securing second place with 12 points. It was a close call, as Mike Warburton also finished with 12 points but narrowly missed out on qualification due to a less favorable ‘leg difference’ – a critical tie-breaker in darts that counts the difference between legs won and lost. Killian Heffernan and Ciaran Forde both ended with 10 points, while Arne Spee finished at the bottom of the group with 2 points.
